The English At Large Board of Directors is comprised of local volunteers committed to the mission of the organization.  The Board provides financial oversight, guides our strategic vision and works with the staff and other community members to raise funds and awareness for our important work in the local community.

Finance Committee

The Finance Committee oversees the short and long-term financial health of the organization, and makes decisions in regard to cash allocations and investments.

Programs Committee

The Programs Committee provides guidance and support to staff on program development and evaluation, learner graduation and volunteer appreciation.  Volunteers on this committee are already involved with EAL as tutors, learners and/or group facilitators, who use their experience to help ensure our programs remain high quality and relevant to those we serve.
